Joseph W. Flanigan, Jr., 91, of Beaumont, Passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2013. He was born in San Antonio on November 26, 1921 to Joseph and Nina Flanigan. He served our country as a B24 Pilot with the Army Air Corps during WWII in the Philippines. After the war, Joseph went to work at Gulf States Utilities until his retirement in 1985.

Joseph was preceded in death by his wife, Mary M. Flanigan. Survivors include: daughters; Diane Dixon of Lake Charles; Sharyn L. McLauchlan and her husband Michael of Humble, Janet C. Pady and her husband Tommy of Lumberton, Susan T. Phillips and her husband Keith of Vidor; sons, Joseph P. Flanigan and his wife Vickie of Vidor, Danny Flanigan and his wife Mary of Lumberton; twelve grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel.
