Harry O'Quinn, 78 of Sulphur, Louisiana passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2014.

He is a lifelong resident of Sulphur. He was a graduate of Sulphur High School. He worked for Gulf States Utilities for 38 years as a utility foreman.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 32 years, Jeanne O'Quinn, son, Brian and wife Angela Allen of Lacassine, three daughters, Dorlena and husband Terry Pickle, Karan and husband Doug Landry and Penny Goldman, all of Sulphur. Five siblings Margarette Johnson, Dale, Gail, Michael and Harold O'Quinn all of Sulphur. Eleven grandchildren, Ryan Pickle, Ashley Rayon, Lindsay and husband Brett Stansel, Lane Pickle and Dustin Landry, Jordan Giachino., Evan Pickle, Derek Landry, Samantha and husband Ryan LaRocca, Amiee Goldman and Trey Allen and five great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by parents Matthew and Dorelene O'Quinn and brother Larry O'Quinn. Special thanks to his caregiver and special friends Addie & Wilford Williams, you will always be a part of our family.

Mr. O'Quinn served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict with the Engineer Supply Specialist, 39th Engineer Company APC, 358. Mr. O'Quinn received an award from the City of Sulphur for his services to his community. Harry was a loving brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially spending time with his family in Arkansas.

A gathering of family and friends will begin at 11:00 am Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home with a Memorial celebration following at 1:00 P.M.
