A private interment was held on Friday, December 26 at Ebenezer Cemetery in Huntsville, Texas for Billie Schaefer, age 81, who passed away at her home in Conroe on December 23. She was born on March 18, 1933 in Huntsville, Texas to James and Arrie Allen.

She attended Sam Houston State Teachers College and retired from Entergy in Conroe where she worked for almost 30 years.

Billie is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 49 years, Marvin, daughter and son in law, Ginny and Jimmy Bienvenu, four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brother, James Allen, of Huntsville and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was affectionately known as "Mimi" to her family.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Vitas Hospice and her many caregivers, as well as the doctors and staff at MD Anderson, for the compassionate care and attention given to her during her time of need. She will be sadly missed by all who love her.
