Horence Eric Foreman, 78, went to his Lord and Savior on Friday, February 2, 2018 in Beaumont, Texas due to complications following abdominal surgery.

Horence was born on February 18, 1939 in Indian Bayou, Louisiana to parents Noah and Jewel Foremen. He married his high school sweetheart, Molly, in 1958. They moved to Bridge City, Texas, where Horence worked as an electrician for Entergy-Gulf States Utilities and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He retired in 1995 and dedicated his remaining time to his loving family and serving as a Deacon and member of the North Main Church of Christ in Vidor, Texas. Horence proudly served his country in the Louisiana Army National Guard. His interests included serving others, hunting, fishing, his gun collection, worshiping God and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Noah and Jewel Foreman.

He is survived by his wife, Molly Foreman; three children, Paula Castille and her husband Bill of Youngsville, LA, Shannon Foreman and his wife Cindy of Orange, TX and Bryan Foreman and his wife Jill of Austin, TX; his brother, Noel Foreman and his wife Sally of Lafayette, LA; eight grandchildren, Macy Foreman, Ellis Foreman, Kate Foreman, Dexter Glassco, Damon Bishop, Stephanie Crowson, Jarrett Castille and Grant Castille; and five great grandchildren.

Services to honor Horence's life will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at North Main Church of Christ, 1460 N. Main St. Vidor, TX 77662, with Minister Mark Legendre officiating. Interment will follow at Autumn Oaks Memorial Park in Orange, TX. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Dorman Funeral Home (8808 Hwy 87 North, Orange, TX 77631).

Pallbearers will be Damon Bishop, Grant Castille, Ellis Foreman, Jarrett Castille, Noel Foreman, Jodie Foreman and Ferral Manuel.
