Mark McDuffie at the age of 62, went to his eternal reward with our Lord on June 17th, 2019.

Born in Monroe, Louisiana, Mark was the son of James & Kathleen McDuffie. He graduated from Louisiana State University with both his BBA in Business Management and his MBA in Business Administration.

Mark worked over sixteen years at Entergy in Human Resources, nineteen years at Verizon Wireless as a Consultant & HR Business Partner, and recently retired from Texas Oncology. Mark held the distinction of his professional certifications in both Professional Human Resources (PHR) and Sr. Human Resources Management & Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).

Mark was a long-time member of St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church in Spring, TX. He served the church as Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, assisted in Money Counters and volunteered with the parish's fall festivals. He served faithfully in many roles over the years for the Knights of Columbus including Grand Knight, District Deputy and Faithful Navigator.

Mark is survived by his wife Laura McDuffie, son Andrew McDuffie, daughter-in-law Jessilyn McDuffie, grandchildren Blyth and Jude and brother Father Paul McDuffie. Other family members include brothers-in-law Mark Freund, David Radek as well as four sisters-in-law Cynthia Freund, Kathy Radek, Jeannie McDuffie, and Sandy Caton. Additionally, Mark is survived by nephews Alex McDuffie, Matthew Radek and nieces Elizabeth Radek and Julia McDuffie

He was preceded in death by his mother and father and his brother Timothy McDuffie.

A visitation will be held Monday, June 24, 2019 at 5:00 PM at Klein Funeral Home Chapel in Spring, TX with a Vigil at 7:00 PM and a Rosary to follow.

A Funeral Service Mass will be held Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Community in Spring.
