Christopher Columbus Kador, also known as "John" and "CC", a native of New Roads and resident of Baton Rouge, died at the age of 93 in his home on Saturday, September 2, 2023.

Christopher leaves to cherish his memories his daughters Kathleen Kador Parker (Marlon) and Linda Kador; grandchildren, Anthony Dixon (Tammy), Maya Dixon; and Christina Kador; great grandchildren, Justus Dixon, Sean Dixon, Sir Reign Dixon, Alexis Kador, Shykira Wesley, George Wesley; sister, Annette Cador Battley; God-daughter, Veronica Gremillion; dear friend, Mildred Duhe and many nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.

Christopher was preceded in death by his wife, Rowena Kador; his parents, Sagor J. Cador and Remelia Elois Cador; sons, Otis and Eric Kador; brothers, Alcide Cador, Mack V. Cador and Claiborne Cador; sisters, Basserine Cador Alexis, Georgiana Bridgett and Vivian Gremillion.

Service will be on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Baton Rouge, LA. with Visitation at 9:00 am; Rosary at 9:30 am; Knights of Peter Claver Farewell Ritual at 9:30 am; and Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am conducted by the Reverend Edward Chiffriller.

Interment at St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery, 809 New Roads St., New Roads, LA 70760. Arrangements entrusted to Desselle Funeral Home, Baton Rouge, LA. Attendees are requested to wear masks.
