Burt Doiron
A lifelong resident of Beaumont, Burton was born July 12, 1924, to Stella Rose and Simon M. Doiron, and was the last eight siblings. He retired after thirty-nine years of service from Gulf States Utilities, as a substation mechanic driver. Burton was very dedicated to his family and enjoyed gardening and creating yard art.
Survivors include his wife, Jeannette Pennell Doiron; two daughters, Debbie Madisetty and her husband Ramesh of Madison, Alabama and Darragh Doiron Castillo and her husband Christopher of Beaumont; grandchildren, David Madisetty, Marissa Madisetty, Matthew Madisetty, and Jasmine Castillo. He is preceded in death by his parents; and son, Darryl Edmund Doiron.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 24, 2010, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 6825 Gladys Avenue, Beaumont, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A Christian Vigil will be 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 23, 2010, at Broussard's.
