	Muriel Hayes Smiley, 88, of Webster, Texas entered into eternal rest on May 3, 2013. Muriel was born January 22, 1925 in Beaumont, Texas to Claude Cecil Hayes and Agnes Ballard Hayes. Muriel was married May 29, 1982 to Buster Smiley in Seabrook, Texas. She was a retiree from Gulf States Utilities (now Entergy). She was preceded in death by her husband. Left to cherish her memory are a niece, Barbara Hayes Hofmann and family, the Smiley family, as well as many cousins and friends. A memorial celebration will be held Saturday, June 1 at 1:00 p.m. in the Parish Mini-Hall at Saint Bernadette's Catholic Church located at 15500 El Camino Real, Houston, Texas 77062. Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Prater Cemetery and mailed c/o Irene Potter, 8802 Apple Mill Drive, Houston, Texas 77095 or to a charity of your choice.
