Passed Away January 28, 2014

Entered into eternal rest at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, January 28, 2014. He was 59 years old, a native of Baton Rouge, LA and a 39 year serviceman for Entergy.

Visitation at Gloryland Baptist Church, 6745 Greenwell Springs Road, Baton Rouge, Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 9am until religious service at 11am, conducted by Rev. Rayford T. Iglehart, Sr., entombed at Southern Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include four children, Tamika Warner White (Lynell), Taisha Warner and Aden Ray Warner, Jr. (Jamila) and their mother, Viregilyer Thomas all of Baton Rouge and Caleb Warner, and his mother, Candance S. Warner both of Gonzales, LA; four siblings, Glenda Howard (Irwin), Baton Rouge, Marilynn Major (Isadore), Yorktown, VA, Deborah Green White, Fort Myers, FL, Lynda Hills (Paul), Zachary, LA, Alex Warner and Leroy Green both of Baton Rouge; two aunts, Elizabeth Augustus (Melvin), Alexandria, LA and Lovie Watson, Oaklawn, CA; a devoted friend, Jeanetta Smith, Gonzales; and stepmother, Theres Brown, San Mateo, Calif.

Ray has always been active in the ministry. At his present home, Gloryland Baptist Church, he served on the Deacon Board, a member of the male chorus, Assistant Superintendent of Sunday School and member of Men of Glory Brotherhood and is a former trustee member of Gloryland Baptist Church. Ray was an active member of the T-Stable Horse Club, Plaquemine, Louisiana. He also volunteered as part-time basketball coach with Upward Sports and soccer coach at Parkview Baptist School.
