Jon Paul Trevelise

Passed away  May 16, 2014

Our loving Jon passed peacefully after being hit by a car in Galveston while riding his bicycle on Easter weekend. He was doing what he enjoyed most, cycling. Typical of Jon, he fought hard and strong to stay with us, though he is now resting in a peaceful place.

Jon passed away on May 16, 2014, at the age of 68. Raised in Union City, New Jersey, Jon is survived by his wife, Alexis Trevelise and her two sons, Robert Dallas Garrison and Richard Brandon Garrison, his sister, Pat Curtis, his children, Peter Jon Trevelise and his wife Jennifer Carter Trevelise, Chris Trevelise and his wife Rebekah McCleary Trevelise, and his grandchildren. Jon will be greatly missed by all who crossed his path and had the opportunity to meet him.

Jon spent his professional life as a CPA, and worked for many successful corporations heading their financial departments.

Jon was a man who never met a stranger, as he had friends from all over the world! He was a gregarious, fun-loving man who enjoyed life to its fullest!

In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions may be made in Jon's name, if so desired. He was passionate about the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, the American Red Cross and the Tour du Rouge, as well as cycling.

A Celebration of Life for Jon will be held at Smith & Wollensky 4007 Westheimer at Highland Village, Houston, TX 77027, (713) 621-7555 on May 24th, 2014, from 11:00 to 3:00 PM. (Complimentary Valet). Dress code is casual, comfortable, fun!
