Clifford passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 7, 2016 surrounded by his family at Our house for Respite in Plaquemine at the age of 82.

A retired Utility Line Supervisor from Entergy/Gulf States Utilities after 38 years of service, he was a resident of Addis and a native of Plaquemine, La. A US Navy Veteran he was a member of the Navy Seabees who served in the Philippines during the Korean War. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved being at his camp in Bayou Pigeon to fish and hunt.

Visiting will be at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine on Monday, January 11, 2016 from 10am until religious services at 2pm, conducted by his son Pastor Paul Toups. Interment will follow at Grace Memorial Park, Plaquemine.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marilyn Vicknair Toups; daughters, Debra Toups Jones and husband Jesse Jones, and Cathy Toups; sons, Clifford Andrew "Andy" Toups, Jr. and wife Elaine Foret Toups, Steven Toups and wife Mary Blanchard Toups, Paul Toups and wife Madonna Haggard Toups and David "Wayne" Toups and wife Lisa Rushing Toups; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister in law, Beth Bergeron Toups; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by parents, Henry, Jr. and Mabel Rivet Toups; and brother, Henry Octave Toups, III.
