Leo Adams
Interment will be held at 3:30 P.M. in Rosevine Cemetery in Rosevine TX. with Metcalf Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements, with a Masonic committal service held under the auspice of Sam Houston Lodge #32 A.F.&A.M. of Shelbyville, TX. Leo was born November 27, 1938 in San Augustine, Tx and passed away April 30, 2007 at his home in Conroe. A visitation will be held Thursday, May 3rd from 6-8 P.M. at Metcalf Funeral Directors.
He retired from GSU-Entergy after 35 years of service. "BE BO" was his clown name, entertaining young and old alike many years for the Arabia Temple Shrine. He was also a member of the B.F. Quicksall Masonic Lodge 1370 A.F.&A.M. in Beaumont for nearly 50 years.
A special thanks to the staff of Light House Hospice, Health South Rehab facility and their many staff members, Dr. Joseph Morrison, and many friends and family members who assisted during Leo's illness.
He was preceded in death by his parents Barney and Ruby Adams, brothers John and Grady, and sisters Sybil and Carlene. Survivors include: His wife, Mary Adams of Conroe, son, Doug Adams of Garland, daughter and son-in-law Kathi and Billy Cornett of Topsy, La., daughter, Vicki Davis of Conroe, 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. One sister Pauline Hines of Garland., numerous nieces and nephews and a special hunting friend Bobby Jolly also survive.
