Ralph Wayne Havard of Lake Charles, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, October 23rd 2016. He was 80 years old. Ralph Wayne Havard was born on September 6, 1936 in Jasper, Texas. A 1954 Graduate of Jasper High School and after graduation joined the U.S. Air Force, he worked for Gulf States Utilities in Bridge City, Texas, and eventually after 28 years retired as a maintenance supervisor for Gulf States Utilities in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary Ruth Havard; daughters, Emily Lorianne Havard and Teresa Charlice Stollsteimer & husband Donald; and son Thomas Wayne Havard & his wife Cheryl. He is also survived by his six grandchildren, Jessica Gayle Viator & her husband John, Steven Wayne English, Mark Wayne Stollsteimer & his wife Brittany, Tracy Marie Harland, & her husband Antron, Tyler Kincaid Havard, and Logan Chase Havard; seven great grandchildren with one on the way, and his sister, Jeanette Havard Coffield and her sons, Mac and Jason. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Charlice Havard, and Gertrude Ponder Havard Westbrook. Ralph enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed his wife's cooking and exceptional care. His funeral and burial will be at noon, Wednesday October 26, at the Concord Cemetery near Zavalla, Texas.
