Tommy Gene Clark, 81, of Longview, formerly of Wildwood, passed away Sunday December 24, 2017. He grew up in Buna, and later lived in Port Arthur. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army where he worked for NORAD and served in the Pacific Command in Okinawa. He attended Lamar University and received his undergraduate degree in business and later his Master's Degree at Lamar University in conjunction with The University of Oklahoma. While at Lamar, he was involved with the John Gray Institute. He worked for Gulf States Utilities, which later became Entergy, in the Economic Development Department. Tommy was actively involved in his church at the United Methodist Temple of Port Arthur then the Wildwood Methodist Church. When he found the time, he enjoyed fishing. Tommy was also a HAM Radio enthusiast and would use his knowledge of the radio to assist relief efforts during natural disasters. He was a hard-working man who believed in community involvement.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jill Slavik Clark; parents, Levi and Willie Clark; brothers, Rayford Clark, and Selman Clark.

He is survived by his sons, Craig Clark and wife, Lynn of Plano, and Cary Clark and wife, Denise of Hallsville; grandchildren, Shanon Clark Harrington and husband, Bobby of The Colony, Audrey Clark of Atlanta, GA, Nolan Clark of Plano, Drew Clark of Hallsville, and Gray Clark of Hallsville; brothers, Reverend Jerry Clark and wife, Jan of Buna, and Dr. Gary Clark and wife, Barbara of Houston; and sister-in-law, Billie Jean Clark of Buna; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Farmer Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 pm, at R. S. Farmer Cemetery, with Reverend Jerry Clark and Dr. Gary Clark officiating.
