Robert "Bobby" Glynn Wooderson, 60, of Huntsville, TX went to be with the Lord on May 9, 2018.

Born in Huntsville on August 15, 1957 to Glynn Adair Wooderson and LaJuana Floyd Wooderson, he was the oldest of four children and always the first to do everything. Bob lived in Huntsville for most of his life, graduating from Huntsville High School in 1975 and then working for the City of Huntsville, Gulf States Utilities/Entergy, Bell Networks, and finally with his beloved Information Technology Division family at TDCJ. He led a life of hard work and abundant love, leaving a mark on everyone he met - a trait he passed to his children, Linden and Robyn, and granddaughter, Kennedy. Bob enjoyed working on and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, attending Texas Aggie Football games, playing golf, and spending quality time with his family and friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Glynn Adair Wooderson and brother, Archie Dale Wooderson. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, LaJuana Floyd Wooderson; son, Robert Linden Wooderson; daughter, Robyn Lindsey Carpenter and husband Gordon Tyler Carpenter and granddaughter Kennedy Claire Carpenter; brother, Thomas Duane Wooderson and wife Julie Rene Wooderson; and sister, Glyna Renee Stevenson.

A visitation will be held from 5 - 7 p.m. Monday, May 14 at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home (1700 Normal Park, Huntsville). A funeral service will be held at Northside Baptist Church (1207 FM 980, Huntsville) at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 15.
