More Information for Betty's daughter Michelle:
My mom passed away early this morning (May 21). Many of you know that she was in a terrible car accident in 2015. She was in ICU for over 30 days and on a ventilator for 60 days. The doctor in the ER that night told us she would not survive, but he didn't know my mom. She fought hard and within 6 months was walking again. Although she wasn't able to return home, she embraced her new normal and remained the "life of the party." In September she suffered a serious stroke. We just happened to be with her when it happened. She had a great day that day and minutes before, was telling us about all of her shenanigans. She declined after the stroke and it's been hard to watch. My mom was full of life. She had a strong will. She had to be the center of attention. We will all miss her. Thank you for your prayers and love for our family during this time.
