Clarence "Butch" Fowler went to be with the Lord on Tuesday March 8, 2022, at the age of 81. He was born in Kilgore, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Rosella Fowler, his sister Audrey McCoy, wife and loving mother of his children Jean Smith Fowler, and wife Mary Wagner Fowler. He leaves to cherish his memories his beloved children Rissa Davis and husband Mark , Karen Blount , Jeff Fowler and wife Karen , Chrissy Tabor and husband Kenny. He was blessed with ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren and many friends. Butch moved to Conroe as a teenager and worked at Barber's grocery store as a sacker and eventually became manager at L&K Grocery in Willis. He also held a seat on the Willis city council. In the mid 70's he went to work for Gulf States (Entergy) as an instrument technician. After his retirement he was a monitor on a handicap bus for Conroe ISD. He was an avid fisherman and deerhunter until his health prevented him from climbing into his deer stand. He was loved by all who knew him and there was never a dull moment. He loved telling embarrassing stories about his children to their friends. A celebration of life will be held on April 2, 2022, at 2:00PM in Cashner's Funeral Home, The Colonial Chapel, 801 Teas Road, Conroe Texas 77303. A reception will follow the service at 8 Shadowood Street, Conroe Texas 77304. All friends and relatives are invited.
