Stanley Pollins, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2024 at the age of 76.

Stan was born in San Jose, California on April 4, 1948 to Joseph and Joyce Pollins. He was known for his love of family and his passion for the LSU Tigers. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Stan is survived by his two sons Shane and Scott along with his three grandchildren Abigail, Jack, and Clare. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sheryl.

Stan proudly built a career with Entergy for 40 years. He enjoyed troubleshooting any problem that was given to him while mentoring the younger linemen. During his years with Entergy, he could be found chuckling at the radio and supporting coworkers even while at home.

Stan also loved the LSU Tigers. Many memories were built with his sons following the Tigers around the SEC in their motorhome. His favorite though was tailgating and Saturday nights in Tiger Stadium.
