Royal "Roy" S. Widgeon, III

Royal Sinclair Widgeon III was born on 14 December 1948, graduated from James M Bennett in 1966 and served in the Air Force from March 1968 to December 1973. He married Mary Anne Price, had four children, and worked as an electrician, then technical writer. Roy loved spending time with his family, teaching Sunday School, coaching t-ball, then baseball, dancing, soccer, biking, golf, karate, fishing, hunting, gardening, and anything his children enjoyed. Royal Sinclair Widgeon III is survived by his sister, Christine Wolff and family; his children, Lillie Mae Eudy, Thomas Kerrie Widgeon, David Paul Widgeon, and Ruth Anne Widgeon; cherished nieces and nephews and collection of people he fill-in parented; grandchildren, Charlee Anne Hood, Jason Darnell Eudy, Matthew Derek Eudy, Colton James Crador, Lilliana Grace Widgeon, and Caroline Faith Widgeon. He will always be remembered for his caring and generous heart, deep devotion to his family, and love of God. A gathering of friends and family to celebrate his life will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff.
