Tom Whiddon
A native of Dallas and resident of the area for fifty-six years, Mr. Whiddon retired from Gulf States Utilities in 1995.
Survivors include his loving wife of fifty-seven years, Nancy Whiddon of Lumberton; sons, Richard Whiddon and his wife Carrie of Katy, Terry Whiddon and his wife Linda of Lumberton; daughter, Lisa Lucas and her husband Carlos of Lumberton; seven grandchildren, Danielle Whiddon, Leah Whiddon, Ginger Pelloat, Will Whiddon, Laci Lucas, Tom Lucas and Colby Lucas; two great grandchildren, Destiny Whiddon and Brody Lucas.
His parents, Mamie and Thomas Whiddon, Sr.; and grandson, Stephen Whiddon preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 15, 2008 at North End Baptist Church with burial to follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A gathering of his family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, December 14, 2008 at the Mortuary.
