Debra Deance Skinner, born on May 22, 1959, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, was the beloved daughter of Leona Berry. A woman of deep faith, she was a devoted member of Word of Hope Family Worship Center, where she worshiped faithfully and joyfully. Debra graduated from Oberlin High School and continued her education at the University of Southwest Louisiana in Lafayette. She went on to build a remarkable 39-year career with Entergy, retiring as a respected procurement specialist known for her dedication, professionalism, and steady presence. Beyond her work, Debra embraced life with spirit and style. She loved riding on the motorcycle with her husband, and together they affectionately called her "Diva", a name that perfectly captured her confidence, grace, and flair. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and strength — a life lived with purpose and a heart that touched many. Mrs. Skinner departed this life Thursday, May 28, 2026, in a Kingwood, Texas hospital.
