Funeral services for Edith M. Patterson, 76, of Sulphur will be at 2 p.m. today, Sept. 5, 2009, in Robison Funeral Home. The Rev. Brian Spicer will officiate. Bural
will follow in Highland Cemetery of Lake Charles. Visitation began Friday and continues from 9 a.m. today, Sept 5, until the time of services at 2 p.m. Mrs. Patterson passed away Thursday, Sept. 3, in a Sulphur hospital. She was met at the gates of heaven by her husband, Boyce Patterson; her parents, John and Ruby Cooper; two brothers and one sister. She was a member of the Pink Ladies at West Cal-Cam Hospital for six years and had retired with more than 30 years from Gul States Utilities. She was an avid coin collector and secretary-treasurer for the Sideliners Retirement Group. Mrs.Patterson was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved her dogs. Her survivors include her son, John Patterson and wife Judy of Sulphur; daughter, Marcia Velette Neimeyer and husband Glenn of Midland, Texas; five grandchildren, Lisa McMorrough and husband John, Erin Basye and husband Austin, Amy Neimeyer, Jennifer Aucoin and husband Josh, and John P. Patterson; four great-grandchildren; brother, Paul Cooper of Midland, Texas; and a host of other family members and friends. |
