The attached picture is dated April 24, 1984 and was the annual Service Awards Banquet for the Lake Charles Division for 1983 honorees. I reached my 10 year mark in 11/12/73 and will celebrate my 35th Anniversary in November. I hope we can have the other honorees identified. On the back row third from the left is Elisha Whatley, Electrician 1st Class at Nelson Station (Hire Date of 11/26/73), the fourth person from the left is Henry Welch, Maintenance Planner at Nelson Station (Hire Date of 11/12/73). On the front row, the third person from the left is Oddie Powell , one of the original planning staff at Nelson Coal. He just celebrated his 35th year and works out of The Woodlands as a Six Sigma Black Belt.
