Flag Raising at The Lone Star Monument and Historical Flag Park in Conroe, Texas. (April 12, 2013)
The flag raising was one of the events in the Texas Legacy Fest which was celebrating the 200th Anniversary of the 1st Republic of Texas.
The park flies 13 of the flags that flew during the Texas Revolutionary period.
As Mayor of Willis, Leonard Reed was the official that raised the Sarah Bradley Dodson flag. Leonard is still an Entergy employee.
