Memorial services will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in Melancon Funeral Home of Arnaudville for Leslie "Randy" Mouton, age 68, who peacefully passed away Saturday, January 6, 2024 at his residence in Arnaudville.

Fr. Anthony Fontenot, pastor of St. Raphael Catholic Church, will officiate at the services.

Mr. Mouton was a native of Gueydan and resident of Arnaudville. He was an Electrical Engineer for LUS for over twenty years. Randy enjoyed spending his time deer hunting, duck hunting, fishing, bee keeping, pigeoneer, cooking and watching tv. He was an amazing father that loved his children and was a very involved grandfather.

Survivors include his wife of forty-five years, Jennifer Mouton; his son, Gary Mouton and spouse, Beau Himel; his daughter, Susan Mouton Breaux and her husband, Lane; his granddaughter, Eleanor Maeve Breaux; two brothers, James Mouton, and Richard Mouton; two sisters, Emilie McCown, and Cindy Stelly and her husband, Randy; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernice Pierre Mouton, and the former Mary Bernice Hebert; and two brothers, Kenneth Mouton, and Ronald Mouton.

A rosary will be prayed at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 8:00 a.m. Tuesday until service time on Tuesday.
