Jack Sirman

A retired Right of Way Supervisor for Gulf States Utilities, he passed away at 2 pm on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at his residence in Baton Rouge. He was 81 years old and a native of Jasper, Texas.

He was a graduate of Beaumont High School. He was a member of Broadmoor United Methodist Church in Baton Rouge where he was a member of the Men's Group and Beacon Publication.

Visiting will be at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Friday, August 26, 2011 from 5 pm until 8 pm. Visiting will resume at Broadmoor United Methodist Church on Saturday, August 27, 2011 from 9 am until 11 am, conducted by Rev. Ken Carroll and Rev. Sammy Tippit.

Burial will be in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Pallbearers are David Tippit, Kyle Sirman, Paulo Barker, Howard King, Ronnie Adams, Byron Kora, Ray Salvato, Floyd Whitaker, Bernard Bourgeois, Vince Misuraca and David Nunez.

He is survived by his wife, Audrey W. Sirman; daughters, Debe Sirman Tippit and husband, Sammy; Patricia Sirman Davis and husband, Harvey; son, Michael S. Sirman and wife Karen; sister, Mabel Sirman; grandchildren, Dave Tippit; Renee' Tippit Barker; Kyle Sirman; Krystal Sirman King; Rachel Sirman; Ann Davis East and Audrey Davis; great grandchildren, Taylor Tippit; Riley Tippit; Braden Tippit; Kendall Barker and Mia Barker.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Edward Sirman and a sister, Billie Sirman.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to the American Cancer Society.
