Calvin A. Comeaux
A ceremony celebrating the life of Mr. Calvin Comeaux will be held on Tuesday at 3 pm at the chapel of Seale Funeral Home; visitation will be Monday 5 pm until 9 pm; and will resume on Tuesday at 12 noon until time of the service. Interment will follow at Chamber's Cemetery.
Mr. Comeaux was born in New Orleans on January 7, 1935 to the union of John and Ella Dee Cook Comeaux and departed from this life on Sunday morning June 8, 2014 at his home in Denham Springs at the age of 79 years.
He was owner and operator of Calvin's Kitchen; served in the United States Army; an avid fan of LSU sports; and enjoyed cooking and feeding everyone; he will be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, daddy, brother and grandfather.
He is preceded in death by a son John R. Comeaux; his parents; siblings J. W. and Wayne Comeaux, Velma Lou Reeds.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years Martha Comeaux; his children Jennifer Comeaux, Mason Comeaux (Julia Jones), Wendall Comeaux; his brother Clarence Comeaux; his sisters Dorothy Peak and Hilda Faye Zachary; also survived by 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, host of nieces and nephews
