Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at a 10:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille in Lafayette for Odon J. LeBlanc, age 92, who died at 8:30 AM on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at his residence in Lafayette.

Entombment will be in Calvary Mausoleum.

Reverend Howard Blessing, Pastor of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Lafayette will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the Funeral Services. Karen Broussard, organist, will sing for the services, "Here I Am Lord", "Hail Mary, Gentle Woman", "Amazing Grace" and "The Battle Hymn of the Republic".

Survivors include two sons, David LeBlanc and his wife, Lynne and Richard LeBlanc, Sr. DDS and his wife, Cheryl; five grandchildren, Lisa Hindmon and husband, Josh, Cindy Puckett, Richard LeBlanc Jr. and his fiancée, Lindsay Dreher, Courtney LeBlanc and Andre LeBlanc and his wife, Eve; two great grandchildren, Matthew Hindmon and Nathan Hindmon and one sister, Rose Listi.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Vivian Duhon LeBlanc and his second wife, Hazel Mouton LeBlanc; his parents, Walter LeBlanc and the former Hilda Pettijean; one sister, Rita Broussard and one grandson-in-law, Adam Puckett.

Mr. LeBlanc was born in Rayne, Louisiana on December 15, 1922 and was a lifelong resident of Lafayette. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed gardening and hunting. Mr. LeBlanc loved dancing, cooking and also spending time with his family. Prior to his retirement, he was employed for many years with Gulf States Utilities. He will be sincerely missed by his family.

The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's DOWNTOWN location on Friday from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

A Rosary will be prayed Friday at 6:30 PM in Martin & Castille Funeral Home by Brady LeBlanc.
