Charles S. Berry, 68, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2015.

He was born in Alexandria, LA to Joseph and Aline Johnson Berry. Charles was of the Methodist faith. He loved the beach, NASCAR, cruises, eating and trips in the R.V. He was a former member of the IBEW. Charles was a utility line operations coordinator for Entergy-Gulf States for 43 years. He was a member of Krewe De Possede and Krewe De L'Bon Temps.

Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Linda Berry; daughters, Angela Berry Hoy and husband, Jeff of New Ulm, TX and Stacey Berry of Dickinson, TX; brother, Thomas Nelson Berry and wife, Jean of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, Heidi Goodeaux and husband, Jeremy Buckalew and Sherry Burnside; great grandchildren, Lillie Buckalew, Christian Buckalew and Kyleigh Burnside. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Aline Berry; sister, Lillie Maureen Sutherland; and grandchildren, Grayson Buckalew and Aubrey Burnside.

Cremation will be accorded and celebration of life will be Saturday, October 3, 2015 from 1 to 4 pm at 968 Sutherland Rd. in Moss Bluff. The family requests that everyone wear their best Margaritaville attire. Hixson Funeral Home in Westlake is in charge of arrangements.
