Elizabeth Grandio Lovett

Elizabeth Jean Lovett (Liz Grandio), passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 25, 2017, at Harbor Hospice, in Beaumont, at the age of 61. She was born on March 1, 1956, in Gainesville, Florida. Liz moved to Texas City, Texas with her family as a newborn. She attended Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School and played softball. Her family then moved to Beaumont, where she resided until her death.
Liz worked for Gulf States for over twenty years as an accounting clerk. She was working at the Beaumont Enterprise in advertising as an ad service manager until her battle with bone cancer.
Liz is survived by her mother, Lali Grandio; sister, Cindy Grandio; daughter, Kristin Lovett; son, Adam Lovett and his wife, Jena; and seven grandchildren who called her "Nanny", Madyson and Michael Owens, Breeana Walker, Bryleigh, Macy, Mabry, and Bryer Lovett; and all her beloved cats. She is preceded in death by her father, Phil "Jocko" Grandio. Liz's love and memories will forever be remembered by her family and friends.
A gathering of Liz's family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, May 26, 2017, at Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 27, 2017, at Broussard's, with her interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
