William "Bill" Herbert Tholborn, passed away on August 30, 2017. William was born and grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Clarence and Dorothy Tholborn on September 9, 1934. William served in the Air Force and retired from Entergy/Gulf States Utilities. William was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Tholborn. He is survived by his daughters, Lori Funderburk and husband Byron Funderburk, Stacey Campbell and husband Willie Campbell; sons, Billy Tholborn and wife Lynn Tholborn, Dickie Tholborn, Bill Elliott and wife Sarah Elliott, and Danny Elliott. Also survived by thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans on Monday, September 11, 2017 beginning at 10:00AM.
