Pauline Rae Phillips, 76, born April 3, 1945 to Alma & Raymond Riley in Spokane, Washington passed away September 19, 2021 at Riceland Hospital in Winnie. Pauline married Albert Miller Phillips in 1963 and had two children, Terry and April then traveled with us through several states until we reached Beaumont, Texas in 1977. Pauline started working at GSU (Gulf States Utilities) in the Payroll Department then to the HR department where she met, influenced and loved many people that became like family. She retired after 20 years. She so loved her friends from those times but dementia stole her slowly from us starting in 2003 then complications from covid took her away in 2021. She is now with her Heavenly Father, whole and in no pain. Pauline so loved her grandchildren, Samantha Phillips Burleson, Tyler Ray Phillips, Dillon Miller Gilcrease and Sarah Grace Gilcrease, as well as, extended family grandchildren, Kaitlin Martin Lemley and Zachary Martin. Pauline did not have many immediate family members but she wholeheartedly loved and cared for a huge extended family. She was a loving, caring friend and extended mother to many. Special thank you to Cathy and Ernie Butler for providing and caring for a special resting place for Albert and now Pauline. They will now rest well together. Pauline is preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Albert Miller Phillips, her parents, Alma & Raymond Riley, grandson, Tyler Ray Phillips. There will be no services due to covid but she knew deep down how much she was loved by all her GSU family, friends and especially her immediate and extended family. | |||||
