Stella L. Meza, 80, of Beaumont, died Friday, September 17, 2021, at Christus Southeast Texas-St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. She was born on March 11, 1941, in Beaumont, to Stella Marie LeBlanc and Herbert Jacob Lass, Sr. She was a retired accountant.

Stella is survived by her husband, Richard Meza; sons, Lester Clayton Smith, Jr, of Colleyville and George Lee Smith, of Beaumont; daughter, Donna Meza Boyher and her husband, Tim, of Humble; brother, George Louis Lass and his wife, Judy of Granbury; grandchildren, Ricky and Tiffany Meza, Darla Fraley, Robert and Sara Stites, Allison Jones and Brandon Boyher; great-grandchildren, Brianna Jones, Bella Jones, Conner Stites, Madilyn Parrish, Bella Parrish, Brenden Parrish, Everett Giacomo, and Emerson Fraley.

She is preceded in death by her son, Terry Meza; daughter, Christy Stites; brother, Herbert Jacob Lass, Jr.; and her parents.

A gathering of Mrs. Meza's family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 23, 2021, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 24, 2021, at Broussard's, Beaumont. Her cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard's Crematorium, Beaumont.
