Raymond L. Audilet was born on February 17, 1935, and was a resident of Beaumont. He attended Amelia Elementary and graduated from South Park High School. He also went to Lamar University before going into the military. Raymond started his adult career at Gulf States Utilities as a lineman and retired from Entergy where he worked in the rate department. He also had other businesses, from storage buildings and warehouses to rent houses and apartments. But his final business was his favorite place to be and that was his ranch. Raymond passed on January 25, 2025.

Survivors include his sons, Steven Audilet of Orangefield and Ron Audilet of Beaumont; siblings, JoAnn Mendoza and Clifton Audilet; and numerous nieces and nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Jo Audilet; daughter, Cheryl Audilet; brother, Jimmy Audilet; and sister, Betty Jean Varina.

A gathering of Mr. Audilet's family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 31, 2024, at Broussard's, with his interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
