Charles Bennefield Passed Away Feburary 3, 2009.

Charles “Charlie” Bennefield, 48, of Lumberton died Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at Methodist Hospital in Houston. A native of Jasper, Charlie was a lifelong resident of Lumberton and was self employed. He is survived by his wife, Donna Bennefield; children, Charlsie Williams and husband Jerry of Silsbee and Cindy Bennefield of Lumberton; grandchild, Lakyn Williams of Silsbee; parents, W. E. and Virginia Bennefield of Lumberton; brothers, Michael Bennefield and wife Donna of Lumberton and Darrell Bennefield and wife Melissa of Tatum. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 6, 2009 at North End Baptist Church, 5115 Eastex Frwy, Beaumont under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee, with burial to follow at R. S. Farmer Cemetery, Silsbee. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, February 5, 2009 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the mortuary. ( From James Smith. I believe Charles worked at Neches, Nelson, Sabine, and Fossil Training. I think he left Entergy about 1995.)
